Green Thumb Therapy

Today is the perfect Southern California day. This is why we So. Cal people live here. The sun is so warm and the breeze is from the ocean and there isn't a cloud in the sky. The blue of the sky looks like a Tiffany's box (although I've never seen one in real life!) But I imagine it's the same pretty, light, perfect blue.
So, this morning everyone woke up relatively happy and I decided to take a chance and run a few errands before Kindergarten pick up. We ran to HomeDepot and picked up some bags of soil and some flowers as well as a tomato plant (decided to try one this year). We came home and started getting our hands dirty literally and WOW! how much fun the boys had. And while we were in the sunshine, I didn't hear one horrible cough! We got all the plants planted and had dirt under our fingernails. For me, it was therapy! For the boys, I think it was just an excuse to get really dirty but that's ok. We had a good time.

Wonderful therapy for all. Glad to hear there were
no coughs. The sun is a powerful healer in many
ways. Yummy tomatoes in the future too, how great
is that. Love, "GG"

I wanted to plant something today but got into cleaning....yuck....too nice to be inside cleaning. So glad that the munchkins were able to be happy to be outside today and give you a break.

Enough about the great weather...we are having winter all over again here in North Texas! :( But way to go on the tomato planting; the garden has always been a great thing for my kids and my husband (I've never cared much for it though).
